Center for Family ResearchThe Center For Family Research is collaborating with the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation (OSPF) in order to evaluate a 3-year, $1.2 million SAMHSA funded project related to state-wide suicide prevention screening . Using the CFR’s Self-Determination Theory-based evaluation model, the project evaluation will provide information about three important aspects of this project:
In keeping with the CFR’s commitment to provide evaluation feedback for continuous improvement, funded programs will be given the opportunity to participate in a Rapid Cycle Quality Improvement process. This effort allows program representatives to gain access to quarterly reports on their efforts to date, and to respond to implementation issues through the development of more refined objectives and plans for improvement. The Principal Investigator of this Project is Dr. Paul Granello, who is both an Associate Professor in the Counselor Education Program at Ohio State and the Director of the OSPF. The collaboration between OSPF and the CFR represents a first-of-its-kind partnership between two initiatives that are housed in the College of Education and Human Ecology. |
