Program Administrator, Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation
Responsible for planning, developing and implementing the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation’s products and services, Coordinates all aspects of coalition development, suicide prevention training and Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation Youth and Adult Speaker’s Bureau, Assists with establishing and building constituencies, Coordinate all aspects of the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation’s annual conferences, Develops and coordinates media, including writing articles and giving presentations, Manages data collection and information dissemination, Develops requests for proposals, reviews grant submissions, writes contracts and manages grants.
Experience in Suicide Prevention:
Ms Holton has been involved in suicide prevention work for the past 12 years. She co-wrote a suicide prevention curriculum for teens, served on the Ohio Suicide Prevention Team, coordinated the development of the Licking County Suicide Prevention Coalition, provided gatekeeper trainings to teachers, parents and agencies, taught suicide prevention strategies to middle and high school students and has presented on suicide prevention at the local, regional and state level.
